I read that quote once when I was sitting at an unfulfilling desk job, and it struck a chord with me.
I’ve met many people who work full-time jobs just to collect a check, do it for 40 years then retire. They’re not stepping into their power, or living a purposeful life. And let me tell you, I’m sick of seeing it.
That’s what I started this business. I started this website to help people find their passion and turn it into a business while making an impact and an income. Gone are the days where you need to spend 40 hours a week sitting in an office staring at the clock and waiting for Friday to roll around.
You may have stumbled across my website because…
Either way, I’m happy you’re here, you’re in the right place.
Now you might be wondering who the heck I am, so I’d like to introduce myself…
I’m Gabrielle and I’ve known I wanted to run my own business since I was in diapers. I was born an entrepreneur and here I am finally stepping into my power.
You may be like, “you’re finally stepping into your power? What’s the mean?” That means that I did what I thought I had to do out of college. I went against my gut and I found a full-time job and was told by EVERYONE and I mean everyone, “you have to get a job, you have to get a job.”
I don’t regret getting my jobs one bit because I learned so much from them. However, I’ve always known there was more out there for me. I’m going to guess you stumbled across this website because you know there’s more for you as well.
If you are frustrated because you want to be your own boss but can’t life figure out what type of business you’d started, I feel you – I was you for the last 26 years of my life.
I remember at one point I was commuting 5 hours a day to my job (insane, I know). I’d sit on the train desperately trying to figure out what to do.
It was incredibly frustrating and it’s the motivation behind this blog and my podcast. I want to provide you with all the resources you need to find your passion, turn it into a business, and live the life you’ve always envisioned for yourself.
That’s the business side of things, now I want to let you in on a little behind the scenes.
My boyfriend Erik and I recently moved from the East Coast to New Mexico. We are New England natives (Holllla if you’re from Boston ??♀️), and we’ve always talked about moving somewhere where we didn’t know anyone or anything, and here we are! Living that dream of ours.
We have a rescue cat and two rescue pitbulls. As you get to know me you’ll see I’m obsessed with all animals and have a particular sweet spot for pitbulls. I’m a massive advocate for rescuing.
This is Coopy ^. Erik got him three months before he met me. He rescued Coop off the streets of Boston back when we lived there. He’s five years old and an absolute terror. He will find any way he possibly can to make someone scream ?
This is Jax ^, aka Jaxi Doodle The Noodle, aka Mr. Noodles. He was rescued from North Carolina where someone dumped him in the middle of winter when he was a few days old. He’s now 2 and we got him when he was just a few weeks old. He’s one of the best dogs I’ve ever met in my life and I love him more than I can possibly put into words.
This is our newest baby, Rocky^! Aka Chalks The Rock Star. Please tell me you also have one million names for your pets that don’t make sense??!! He is our foster fail. Rocky was on the euthanization list when we moved to New Mexico, so we hopped in the car and gave him a second chance at life. We’ve only had him about seven months now, and he’s taught me so much. He is the biggest loaf of bread in the entire world and just wants to sit on the couch and kiss you all day. I love him to pieces.
Anyway my friends, that’s it from me! Thank you for being on this journey with me, I’m excited you’re here and can’t wait to cheer you on and help get you where you want to go. I hope today is your Day One. ❤️
