Do you ever see marketing ads where someone is trying to sell you their product based off of a strategy that worked for them?
“Learn how I sold $100,000 with my first launch in 24 hours!!!”
And you cringe a little?
Or is it just me?
Maybe it’s because I used to fall for those types of marketing tactics as an aspiring entrepreneur. I spent a lot of my hard-earned money learning what worked for other people, implementing them myself and getting zero results.
^this was me everytime I fell for it and walked away with egg on my face.
It wasn’t until I became seasoned in my business that I learned, what works for one person doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll work for the next person.
Each one of us has our own individual personalities and our business strategies should reflect that.
If you are an introvert, sliding into people’s DM’s and trying to get them on a Zoom call with you probably isn’t going to feel good. But, that strategy could’ve helped the extravert next door have a 350k launch. Then, they go sell that launch strategy. You as an introvert buy it, and walk away even more frusterated because you’re not seeing results because sliding into people’s DM’s doesn’t come naturally to you.
Gone are the days of people selling what worked for them and how they saw success. Here are the days of empowering people to find their own individually aligned marketing/sales/lead generation what-have-you strategies.
Regardless of what type of coach you are, make sure you’re looking at your clients as individuals. Not as “this is what worked for me – now it’ll work for you.”
