Have you been hoppin’ on discovery call after discovery call only to find out that people keep saying “no” to joining your coaching program?
You’re down in the dumps because everyone else can figure it out but you….right?!
You’ve convinced yourself that something is wrong with you. You’re scared you’ll have to scratch your entire business plan and come up with a new one based on what another coach is doing on Instagram so someone FINALLY pays you for your services….right?!
WRONG!
So very wrong.
This is a trap a lot of coaches (including myself!) fall into. It’s the opposite of what you should actually be doing.
What you should be doing instead is pausing and turning inward and asking your intuition what the next move is instead so you can get yourself back into alignment.
Sometimes, you need assistance shaking that answer out of you (insert: a coach you trust to help you do this). Other times, you’re able to find that alignment on your own through some journaling, meditation, and marinating.
Alignment is key. It’s one of the biggest symptoms I see when people are struggling with sales in their business so let’s get down to it to make sure you’re aligned in your offerings so people stop turning down your coaching program.
This is where alignment really comes into play. If you’re not 110% about what you’re selling, you’re likely not going to sell a lot of it.
It’s also the reason why many people don’t last long in MLMs. People aren’t buying because they don’t feel the genuine energy behind the person who’s selling the product.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had a coach come to me who was more concerned about putting her program together than finding a niche that she actually likes.
This is why I take finding your niche SO seriously. Once you’ve found the niche that’s meant for you, it’s a million times easier to put together a program. You have genuine excitement and confidence in what you’re selling, why you’re selling it, and who you’re selling it to.
When you take that energy into a sales call, it does the work for you.
Unfortunately, when your energy is off – even if you don’t consciously realize it – the person on the other end of the Zoom call is going to pick up on it and it’s usually a done deal.
Most coaching programs out there are high-ticket and your people aren’t going to fork over thousands of dollars for something that you don’t fully believe in.
Back your program and let that energy sell itself.
Know so deeply that your program will make a positive change in people’s lives and if you don’t have that feeling, that tells me that you’re not fully aligned in your niche which is spiraling into your offerings.
Don’t panic! I have a free masterclass that will help you find your aligned niche. You can access it here.
When was the last time you asked your audience what they wanted to see from you?
So often people create what they THINK their audience wants to see vs. asking them directly.
“Hey, I was thinking of creating [insert program/product/etc and high level of the transformation], is this something you’d be interested in?”
Put a survey up on your stories. Get people’s feedback. If people say yes, awesome – ask them for a refundable deposit to book their spot and if x people join, you’ll move forward with it and get back to them with further details.
Your people should be at the forefront of every move you make in your business because they are the reason why you have a functioning business. Always ask them before you launch!
If you’re tiptoeing around the transformation or DMing people when it’s the last thing you want to do, it’s not going to work.
When you lean into your personality and create a strategy around how you naturally operate, you see consistency. You start becoming more disciplined. You feel like you’re finally running YOUR business, not a cookie-cutter business from another coach on Instagram.
