I will always preach business alignment, especially when it comes to finding your aligned sales strategy.
I want every single aspect of your business to be in alignment with you and honestly, your personal life as well. If more people operated in alignment, the world would be a better place.
Before we dive in, let me define what I mean by alignment. My definition of alignment is simple. It’s operating in a way that works for you and your individual makeup.
It’s that simple.
Every single one of us operates in our own unique way and the more you honor that, the more successful you’re going to be.
1️⃣ How do I like to build relationships?
2️⃣ What do I like/dislike about sales?
Focus on what you like. Stop doing what you dislike.
It’s easier said than done but here’s an example:
If you are an introvert and you were taught that the only way to book clients is to be sliding into their DM’s and pitching yourself – it’s not going to work for you.
Why?
Because it’s not aligned with who you genuinely are.
*And it’s also annoying – no one likes to be pitched to like that, at all. *
Instead? Focus on implementing a strong attraction marketing strategy that has solid call-to-actions.
Invite people into your DM’s to start a conversation with YOU, instead of the other way around.
Focus on building your relationship that way.
If the conversation transitions into them asking questions that are up your alley, help them out and let them know how you can support them in more depth.
If they want to hear more, invite them on a call with you or go back and forth via voice notes.
Hear them out
Ask them where they feel they need support
If it’s aligned with what you have to offer, tell them how you can help them.
Don’t feel like you have to be sliding into people’s DM’s to get sales if that doesn’t feel genuinely aligned with you.
No one likes that. No one wants to feel pressured and I’m sure you don’t *actually* want to be pressuring people.
Finding your own aligned sales strategy comes from understanding who you are and how you operate and staying true to that through the sales process.
Dig deep to understand how you enjoy building relationships then create a strategy based on that. Everyone’s aligned sales strategy looks different. Be patient with yourself as you navigate this, especially if you’re just starting out in your business.
