Who else is a book nerd around here and loves hearing about books for coaches?! ♀️
I love reading and I swear it’s what’s helped me uplevel my coaching game and scale my business.
Today I’m sharing 5 books that will help take you and your biz to the next level!
This book was so eye-opening for me and helped me realize how much I’m judging myself and sometimes others.
As a coach and entrepreneur, it’s so important for me to work in a judgement-free headspace and this book helped me shake my bad habits and implement new ones.
I’m a big Gabby fan (maybe it’s because we share the same name ). Her wisdom has helped me immensely in my personal and professional life.
My other favorite books of hers are Super Attractor and The Universe Has Your Back!
Entrepreneurship is a big mental game and mental toughness is something I knew I wanted to level up in my life. Who better to learn from than David Goggins?!
I couldn’t put this book down.
10/10 would recommend to anyone.
I’ve heard people say that they don’t like the book because they can’t relate to him. I chose to not look at what I could relate to but more so learn how he trained his mind to push harder every single time he wanted to.
His stamina is incredible to me. Definitely worth the read!
Implementing needle-moving habits into your workday isn’t something that comes naturally for most people (or am I just saying that to make myself feel better )
It certainly didn’t come naturally to me.
I needed help with my discipline when I first started my coaching business.
I’d get distracted easily. I wouldn’t know what to do to get where I wanted to go. So I turned to Brendan Burchard for guidance.
This book helped me implement the habits I needed to see success in my business.
Here’s what stuck with me most in this book:
If an idea comes to you and you don’t act on it, it’ll leave and go to someone else to see if they’ll act on it.
I think about that all the time.
If we let fear get in the way of our million-dollar idea and don’t take action on it, someone else will.
This logic motivates me deeply every single day.
If you struggle with procrastination or resistance, this one is for you my friend.
I love the way Steven Pressfield explains the different ways procrastination and resistance can show up for you in your workday.
I always think back to his points when I find myself wanting to randomly clean my desk when I was supposed to start writing content. Or when I remember about the sink full of dishes when I was about to pitch myself to a podcast.
Our inner bully and imposter syndrome shows up in ways we may not think and he does a fantastic job of explaining it throughout his book.
There you have it! My 5 recommended books for coaches to help uplevel yourself and your business.
