Curious how to use affiliate links in your 1:1 coaching sessions to add an additional stream of income to your business?!
A big emphasis on LOVE here!
Make sure you’ve had a great experience using these products before recommending them to your clients. Your clients trust you and your guidance, don’t steer them wrong!
You will lose trust with them very quickly if you recommend products just for the sake of affiliate commission.
Almost all of them do which is great!
Go into your dashboards and do some digging. You should be able to come up with a personalized affiliate link and commission information.
For example, if you use Honeybook, log into your dashboard —> hover over “tools” —> click refer and earn —> copy your affiliate link.
I keep a list of my links in my notes app for easy access.
Timing is everything. Make sure to suggest the product once your client actually needs to use it.
For instance, I love HoneyBook, I use it for all my invoicing, sending proposals, contracts, etc. And I love their affiliate link. It’s $200 per person that signs up and the person who purchases get 20% their entire first year.
Here’s my link if you want to try Honeybook out!
I don’t suggest my clients sign up for HoneyBook until about 6-7 sessions in (this can change, but that’s the average # of sessions it typically takes) because we’re still ironing out other aspects of their coaching business that need to be in order for them to actually start booking clients and using invoicing software.
No surprises here!!
Be upfront and let them know that if they use that link to purchase, you’ll get a small commission from it.
Using affiliate links is a great way for you to add an additional revenue stream, and for your clients to save on products/services/systems they need.
